Empowering Women, Empowering Communities: Women's Department at SAN.

The Women's Department at Sozo Africa Network (SAN) is dedicated to uplifting and empowering women in our communities. We believe that when women thrive, families and communities flourish.

Women's Department Activities:
  1. Women's Groups Formation.
    • Establish and support women's groups for socialization, networking, and collective empowerment.
    • Provide training on leadership, communication, and conflict resolution.
  2. Functional Adult Literacy Classes.
    • Offer literacy classes for women with limited or no formal education.
    • Focus on practical skills like reading, writing, and basic math.
  3. Start-up Capital and Entrepreneurship.
    • Provide start-up capital and mentorship for women to start or expand their businesses.
    • Training on entrepreneurship, financial management, and marketing.
  4. Advocacy.
    • Raise awareness on women's rights, gender equality, and social justice.
    • Support women in advocating for their rights and interests.
  5. Spiritual Empowerment.
    • Host bible studies and prayer meetings for women.
    • Provide mentorship and counselling for spiritual growth and development.
